For customers in Europe, emerchantpay ensures compliance with PSD2 Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) requirements, providing an extra layer of security during transactions.
When a customer selects Apple Pay at checkout, they are presented with a payment interface where they can choose their preferred card and provide necessary contact details and shipping information. Then they are prompted to authenticate the payment using Face ID or Touch ID.
